Cerbera Chassis Repairs
Discussion
Upon reflection I've withdrawn the advert in the parts wanted section requesting a replacement Cerbera chassis. I had my reservations about posting the ad, but the fact that this garage was prepared to accept the front end of a chassis only if they couldn't source a complete one is a scary thought...
Very dodgy if you ask me. Anybody who has seen how a Cerbera (or any TVR) chassis is constructed will know that the last thing that you should do is to try to graft a new front onto one. If you were to repair one, you would need access to the original jigs, and in order to do it correctly, you'd be replacing almost the whole thing anyway.
The trouble is, whoever ends up buying this cut and shut job, probably won't be told what's happened to it.
