Julian
Sorry I cut you off, my phone went dead.

Anyway, got the front two on. Couldn't find my file so used a bit more brute force, a.k.a. bloody big hammer.

I'll take it for a little spin tonight and do the back tomorrow (had to stop as the neighbours were giving me even stranger looks than normal!!!!!)
Hopefully the back should be easier now that I've got it sussed.

What was the name of that place where I might be able to get the compressor pipes?? (thats the next job)

Cheers
Andy

And todays game is 'guess the subject'?

I like to think it is the modern cavemans guide to wheel fitment (file.......large hammer )

Any other bright ideas?

Very close but not quite!!! wheels were involved but that was just because they had to come off to do what needed done.

Answer is : a new set of AVO's and springs as the front to were done in, thought I might as well just do the whole car.

..my guess was going to be that this was a Le Mans re-enactment, where an expert mechanic is allowed to advise, but not to touch the car, whilst the driver sits sobbing next to the mess of bits

Oh, and jock-tt, I hope once your car has the new shockers it won't go bounce bounce bounce(as per the smilies)

Nope!!!!!
It's going quite well, just playing with the ride height so that I can get over the speed bumps outside my house. Low but not so's I rip the bottom off
Drives miles better now that it's done....

Don't run too low if you want to run the car hard on track days and the like. Mine was pretty low for a while and I have big problems with the brakes frying, even on 5.1 fluid, DS3000 [race] pads and drilled disks. So bad in fact I lost the brakes totally once. When I lifted the car an inch or so the brake problems went. Also, I know the same thing happened to Garth in NI, he dropped his car like mine, suffered a brake failure and had to lift it again.

Won't be a problem on the road though.
