I'm new to the TVR world and looking to get myself a Cerbera. Can anyone give me some advice on what are the main problem areas for a 95-97 Cerb? The wife wants me to get a girly soft top Chimaera, so also need some bullsh*t reasons why not to get one of those.

Any help will be rewarded with thanks!

Not entirely sure you'll win over many people on here with references to the Chimaera being 'Girlie'

Hello Donkfish1....(love the name!!!)

Don't take any notice of this lot...you will be just as insane after a few posts!!!!...

Welcome to the forum....

If you are looking for a Cerb of that year, scroll through some past threads for plenty of advice, but one thing you should check once you have found your car, is that it has had any factory recalls done.

A phone call to TVR should sort that.

If the car has a FSH, it should be noted on the forms.

You could also try joining the TVR Car Club, attend a few local meets and chat to owners....usually loads of info there.

Good Luck
