if it bottoms out and it's not running a silly loow ride height then it's too soft in bump (you probably worked that out already!). You can goto stiffer springs of increase the bump on the damper. I can't remember what you've got spring wise on your car but assuming it's somewhere around 325lbs then you're not running enough bump, trouble with cheaper dampers like the avo is that if you increase the bump they go a bit harsh, if you don't want that you'll have to raise the ride height.
thing is the AVOs are designed to be used with std springs .. if you wind the adjuster up to get enough rebound to control a stiff spring you'll also be winding the bump up so making the ride harsher .. I've found 400 pound springs to be the limit you can go to before this gets out of hand.
BUT .. the damper has more effect on ride than the spring. if you use a damper with reduced bump you can go to stiffer springs which has benefits, especially at the front. The only way to know for sure if you think it's better is to put some on and try it I guess. However alot of people out there fit avos to std springs with no reported problems, so maybe yours aren't performing properly?

Cheers Joolz,
When I get some free time, I'll try the extreme settings on the front shocks to see how it feels. There's plenty of height on the front springs since you reset the camber. You may recall the car was right down on the front with shocks set very hard.
Just need to find some time to play...
