How many Cerbera's

Since we are talking numbers on another thread, anyone any idea how many 4.2's / 4.5's or Speed Six's have been built?

Covered 1000 miles over the last 2 days and didn't see one Cerbera. ( saw a few Chims, Griffs etc )

I was thinking around the 1000 mark??

Was up the factory last week and they said they only turn out about 12-15 cars (of all types) a week.... and Cerberas seem to be bar far the rarest?

(Apparently lots of Tuscans being ordered at the moment !)

They used to build a fair few. When I bought mine (1998), I think they were knocking out about 300 a year or so.

Probably somewhere in the 1,000+ region. Of course, some have been binned too.....

Well, its been in production for 7 years.

Not sure really. Somewhere between 4000 and 6000 would be my refined guess.

If they made one a week for 7 years that would still only be 360 ish ???

They used to make a lot more of them. If you went to the factory in 98 or 99, they were always building loads. I think the peak was probably about 8 a week. However, that was the peak. They don't make that many now. But then they don't make as many cars in total in a year as they used to either.

I think there was a thread similar to this about a year ago. At the time someone on PH had visited the factory to see their cerb in build and it was numbered at something like 1060.

I'm prepared to be flammed because I could very well be wrong - just vaguely remember a previous thread.

I heard it was around the thousand mark as well, although as James points out how many are left is anyones guess

Was at the factory last Friday - guess lots of others were also at the factory the week beforehand for Back Home.

Absolutely no Cerb's on the production line. Lisa had said that 2 went out last month, although orders are higher during the winter months. Therefore, guess numbers haven't gone up since 1060 was being branded around ....

Noted that the 440 / 400 is not being offered any longer as a 2+2, therefore the Cerb really is the last option for those after back seats. Maybe that will influence future numbers ???
