Can anybody tell me what the warranty options are on
older cars?

Are there a few on offer,IE: different levels of cover, different suppliers / costs etc?

Thanks in advance

Dont bother, save yourself the cash and use a decent independant. Warrantees may look great but the companies themselves are so reluctant to pay up its not worth the hassle IMHO.

AA thing seems not bad at fifty quid a year.

Seems like a hot topic, but not really drawn any great conclusions as yet.

The WH deal seems to get a thumbs down, anyone want to stand up and support it?

The AA gets a few recommendations, but pays out little and not on engines it seems.

Anyone else got some in put to this?

As for work, I would probably entrust this to a well
known TVR driver based in Daventry given his status and reputation...oh that and I hope to live a stone's throw away shortly...

Thanks again folks

Mine (a WH warranty) has always payed out (albeit on minor things). I think it has a lot to do with the relationship a dealer has with WH and how much business it puts their way.

Even with minor stuff, by the time you have factored in labour it can get expensive if you don't have a warranty IMHO.
