4.2 Cerbera Recalls

Is there a list anywhere on line of factory recall advisories for the 4.2's?

It would be handy for future owners like myself, to know what has gone before and what to look out for.

The only one I can think of is the recall for the front suspension uprights. The car will have a little sticker on the VIN plate if it has been done. Most should have been by now.

There were plenty of 'upgrades' though i.e. door seals, newer engine block (dipstick at front) etc.

The only "recall" was for the uprights, and affected ALL cerbs (4.2, 4.5 & Speed 6) made before 2000 (I think). The car will have the below sticker on/near the VIN palte if the work has been done.

There have been modifications, but no other recalls on Cerbera's....

I called the factory yesterday , gave them the VIN number and they confirmed that the recall had been done. However they did explain that the troublesome hub units are the ones that have the three sections cast as one. The later ones are three separate sections bolted together ( i think ).I spoke to Neil in the recall department, he will explain all.
