finally after a years deliberation decided to bite the bullet and get a cerb - got it off ChrisI (just been made redundant) felt bad because he was sick to see it go - anyway it will be well looked after.
A couple of questions - up to 2000 revs, car seems quite rough - is this usual or not - beyond this point it goes really smoothly. Also car has had recent green pads fitted and they squeal after about 5 minutes use - so much so that I cannot live with the noise - I am going to get the car to Andy for a once over but is there any cure that I can make now - I just want to get out and go.
Also to anyone who like me is worried about ownership of a cerbie, just get one - even with the problems I have so far it is excellent fun and hopefully soon will be improved.

Boy do I envy the two new owners.
After a really tough and long week (about 80 hours so
far) I would love to take a Cerbera out for a run
on a lovely summer's evening like tonight.

Still, my turn will come in the next few months, so all I can say is have fun, be careful, go turn some heads and I'll join you soon!

They need not be rough below 2000 rpm. Mine certainly isn't. It is not a major problem though, just get out there and enjoy it.

The squealing brakes has been dealt with on other threads, just do a search.
