My 4.2 cerb is awaiting a new clutch, I've been told they are very difficult to get hold off at present due to a shortage nationally. Is anyone else experiencing problems?

Our 4.2 Cerb had a dead clutch when we bought it, but the dealer we bought it from had it replaced (obviously!) before we picked the car up. I think it was clutchless for three weeks or so.

We bought the car from Fernhurst - might be worth giving their man Brian a call to see if he can get one for you?

ChrissyG.

Depending upon whether your car can move, and whether you are prepared to take it to an indenpendant not too far away from you in Glos, I might know a place that has some clutches (unless they have fitted them all). I just had my clutch replaced, and they had them in stock.

Mail me offline if you are interested.

Another option is to get your clutch refaced. Joolz organised this for me at a very modest £125 ( if my memory serves me correctly).

My main dealer (Dream Machines)even fitted it FOC as they wanted the car out of the workshop.
