Fundamental flaw/or just unlucky?
Discussion
Unfortuneately have developed first problem, in seals on my clutch have given up the ghost, after just 4k miles of mostly motorway driving. Hence car is off the road with the nice people at peninsula awaiting parts (big shortage apparently). My car is an early one, and had the clutch upgraded last yr at TVR main dealer, looking at past threads quite a few people have had problems hence the question above.

Yup, my Cerbera's slave cylinder went at 33K miles. Porsches must clearly be more reliable therefore.
Hey, wait a minute - the clutch on my 911 went too - the forks for the relase bearing fractured. Oh, and the starter went twice, and the alternator, and the central locking, and the headlight washers, and the sunroof leaked....
Maybe 944s are better. Yes, my 944 turbo's clutch release mechanism never went wrong...then the springs in the clutch hub broke up and locked the clutch 'on' and destroyed the plates too. And it never started when hot. And the aircon packed in. And the electric seats broke.
A simpler 944 therefore - one with less to go wrong? My 944 basically blew up. Catestrophic head gasket faulure, water down all 4 bores - thus knacked bores & pistons, warped head, 'bang', lots of white smoke and steam. And it ate driveshaft bearings.
No doubt about it then, you should get a Porsche.

Surprising what comes to light when someone who KNOWS steps up and posts something, in comparison to people who don't know isn't it
Real shame you have sold your Cerb now William!!
