I've got condensation in one of my rear lights, but its the one that doesn't need resealing.

The one that does need resealing is perfectly clear.

I always thought this to be the opposite way round, so does anyone have any suggestions. Take off and reseal both of them or leave the one thats not steamed up?

One of my rear lights used to steam up despite both units looking completely sealed. Didn't fancy taking the covers off and resealing them because my best efforts with a sealant gun still looks like a 5 year olds done it! So...

I tried the easier method of taking out the rear light clusters from the inside. Cleaned and dried everything and replaced the clusters, completely cured the problem. Worth a try, very quick and easy to do.

apparently u can drop a teabag on a string between the lens and cover and it soaks up the condensation - never tried it but expect it works if you can't be bothered to remove the unit.

I had the same problem, and drilled a tiny hole from the inside outwards, through the inner lens, which allowed air to circulate in the boot from the light enclosure. This did take about a week to kill the condensation, but it worked and there's nothing to see from the outside? If you want to remove the whole innards, its also a good opportunity to buy the "clear" rear light clusters from Halfords to replace the existing ones, if you like that sort of thing? Personally, my "innards" are screwed and masticked in, and I'd imagine are a pain to remove.
