Alarm

Picked up my '98 4.2 Cerbera on Saturday. It's everything I hoped for and more!

I was wondering if anyone has managed to translate what all the flashing lights from the alarm mean? When I lock it, it flashes 4 times and the little lights on the rear screen and inside flash like a Christmas tree. According to the owner’s manual this is indicative of the alarm having been set off.

I've spoken to the dealer and they've told me that the owner’s manual no longer matches the alarm as the alarm software has been updated but the manual has not. Is this true?

Finally, does anyone know how to reset the alarm?

Mind does the same as well.

Reset the alarm ? Why ?
(You just diconnect the battery - HOWEVER, you've then got to re-sync the alarm fob/s which is a bit more tricky....)

me too - 4 flashes on setting alarm ('99 4.5)

not too bothered about if though
