Has any Cerbera owner had a navigation system installed? Is there a recommended one and anyone have any pictures of the installed system?

Thanks

danny and james have both had one.
Think it was one where the screen pops out of the head unit.

I use a Navman jacket and a Compaq PDA, this seems to work OK.

I have an iPaq with Navman sleeve, which is great 'cos you can take it out of the car and use it for loads of other stuff instead of leaving it in there - plus the maps are cool, etc.

Ipaq with Navman 3400.

works well. DOesnt have the new London maps though, nor does it allow you to avoid congestions zone.

I'd rather change if poss to a system that shows speed camera's etc, as well as the Nav system.

Is there one out there?

The Tom Tom navigator software works a treat, with Camera overlays, and a 3d-orthographic view of the road ahead (you know, the road edges get closer together the further away it is - type thing) - plus you can specify congestion and it'll quickly work out a round-about avoid-it route for you ... cool.

I have the Tom Tom software loaded on to a Compaq Ipaq and it works very well. At £230 its much better value than the £2500 system in my old Lexus.

Danny's old car.......now mine has an alpine multimedia unit.

As the others say the Sat-Nav slides out from the main MD player unit. Has radio, TV and a connection point for a DVD/playstation/video unit.

There is a new version of this. see the alpine site.

Also worth getting a decent sub-woofer in the back between the seats like danny did. Makes the car sound (as well as look) the business.

Sorry I dont have any pictures of the interior yet, maybe Danny has some.
