Still toying with the idea of a cerbie (they are so damn cheap now) but maybe a 993 will be a better every day car (I need a 2 + 2). Anyway - has the infamous James Hall 4.5 been sold yet (and has he got his 'R' yet?)?

if you need an every day car, forget the cerbie, but if you get a 993, I bet you'll be quickly tired of it if driving everyday...

Use my Cerbera Speed Six everyday, have now done 16,000 miles. In the last year have had two minor problems with it which have meant the good old AA having to be called out.

Go for it !

Why is James Hall's 4.5 Cerbera considered notorious? I am intrieged to know as it seems to have just popped up in the classifieds again.

Thanks

It's not notorious. I think the use of 'infamous' was tongue in cheek as James could be found in his Cerbera all over the country in the last couple of years. It's also been featured a number of times on this site hence it's a well known car, that's all.
