Sorry for the boring topic!

My Cerb needs a new front wheel bearing, and TVR quote their usual extortionate prices and want over £130 for one! As with most parts on the Cerb, does anyone know if it is off another car and can be found cheaper elsewhere??

TIA,

Jo

Oh Oh I know this.. wait, hang on.. its. Oh bugger, I hate it when that happens.

Seriously I think I know a man who knows, so, if nobody gets there first, I'll find out and repost. I assume it must be Ford related - the Griffs and Chims are Ford Scorpio or Sierra Cosworth or something like that.

Helpful huh?

Beej,

Any info is most welcome, and judging by the underwhelming response to my query, looks like you are the only one with any info on this.

Thanks in advance.......

Jeep Cherokee? Anyway, that doesn't seem to expensive for something on a Cerbera!

Get the bearing out, look in Yellow Pages for your nearest industrial bearing/transmission distributor and take it along. I'd be surprised if its more than a tenner or so.

Yup, thats what I'd do - whip it out and get the number off the side - quick call to BSL and job done.
