Autocar. 30 April

Page 37, Steve Cropleys 'Motorweek'

Tuesday

A Friend needs a TVR Cerbera for about half an hour.
He's getting Married in a couple of weeks and has heart set on arriving at the church behind the wheel of said Firebreather.
Trouble is, he can't find someone to hire him a Cerberea for a day.
Is there a Cerbera owner in Surrey/Hampshire area, who can help?
My Friend only wants to drive a couple of miles - slowely. He Has the correct Insurance and will pay a sensible fee. Soft Hearted Cerbera Readers should contact Mark on 07753 720155 and help make his day.

I am sure if u help out u will get a bit in Autocar about it.

This chap can't have looked very hard. Has he approached the car club, talked to any dealers about hiring one, done a search on the net or has he just said to Cropley, "'ere, get us a Cerbera Steve".

i Must admit that if it was his dream then i am sure if he done some Searching(sure i have seen some somewhere but cant recall) he would find some one.
Even if a dealer let him have it for a test drive for the half hour.

More like what u said TED, thought his mate in the Auto biz would throw one at him

interesting spec sheet on that one - described as a Targa (maybe a prototype for the T350T??), and obviously a bit down on power at 6.5 secs 0-60!!

and its a Speed Six with a "V8cc" engine - probably why it gets 26mpg

You're right - doesn't sound like they know their TVRs really does it ?
