Just got back from my RR dyno run. Got 339bhp @5302rpm and 312lb/ft torque @4550rpm. The graph does show a huge drop in torque from around 3400 - 3700rpm. I was not totally happy with the results as the operators were playing with their new machine for the first time, and we had quite a few runs due to wheel-spin. Anybody any idea's why I should have this huge drop in torque at the said rev's?

The power seems quite low for a 4.5 but the RPM it was achieved at also seems low ..... i wouls think the RR maight not have been that accurate.

actually power and torque both about right for your average 4.5, did they take the revs off the road speed / rev counter rather than a proper HT pickup? . even if there's extra to come from getting the revs right in the power graph it's still a good showing (measuerd torque wouldn't alter anyway).
the power drop thing at those revs is generic . every time the power dips in the curve it corresponds with an area of overfuelling (can plot this on john noble's new software) .. TVR fuelling is never a strong point even the recent brilliant red rose car we tested would have picked up significantly if only the fuelling was correct according to the rolling road operator (who was reponsible for mapping the NOble M12 on MBE management so he knows his stuff..)

Jools,
Do you know of any remedy to overcome this fueling problem.
Also the BHP drops slightly from approx 3500 to 3700, is this the same problem as the torque. Do you know of any good RR in the NE as this was non airconditioned, and when asked how many air changes per minute, I just got a blank look with "we've got a big fan".
