I want to purchase a drivers' seat - without the frame - just the seat leather - direct from TVR preferably so its already "shaped", etc. so all I have to do is fit it to the existing seat. Is that possible do you know? if so, how do I go about approaching them?

Try TMS, their website seems to imply they sell all the bits from a complete seat to just the leather. I also think they sell the foam which may be useful if yours is 'tired'.

The website is www.tmstvr.co.uk and they are easier to get hold of than the factory (usually). Ask for Ivan as he runs the parts dept.

I rang the factory direct about my old car and got put straight through to the trimming department, who were really helpful.

Afraid I can't remember the chap's name, but it wasn't difficult to get through.

If you want to ring the factory (they're quite friendly and don't bite!) the no. is 01253 509000.

I approached them and they weren't interested in helping me directly - it all has to go through dealers apparently, so I hooked up with MV Chessington - and THEY need my chassis number - so I'm stuck for a bit!
