Engine corrosion

Hi all,
The speed6 I looked at yesterday had a lot of corrosion visible on the engine, also black sealant was smeared about it, also had small holes around one of the front indicators Are these things normal?. Sorry but it was the first one I have seen. Waddler does yours have these problems? (Waiting for your call, you drive a hard bargain

I heard that sometimes people drill minute holes around/in lenses to clear condensation if its in there after masticking a lens on (you see, its airtight then, and the only way to "air" the interior of the light housing is to do that - else remove the houseing from behind which is normally just as crap a job). I did this myself to my rear-nearside lens recently, although I did it from the inside-out so it couldn't be seen. Not sure about mastick on the engine though - although it does rub off quite easily so perhaps you could ask the seller to remove it (he should do so if he wants to sell it)
