dodgy door switch on passenger side

seems my switch is a bit iffy sometimes takes several tries to work..
looks like the only way to get at the switch is by taking the mirror out.

anyone know how to do this without incurring 7 years bad luck (not something a cerbie owner needs!!!)

works 1st time from inside every time so its gotta be that switch or connetion to it?

Generally will be corroded connections.

Spoke to Andy at APN who confirmed only way is to carefully prise out mirror.. BUT he recommended spraying WD40 up inside it first .. I used some aerosol eletrolube switch cleaner in the end which fingers crossed has done the trick.. no 7 year bad luck just yet!
