yes they are ascar cans, they took a pattern off mine i think.

the car looks like brand new now so i'm very happy, the headlights were a worry for me but i'm really happy with the look, ditto rear lights.

I like your wheels. What make and size are those? I need to sort some out on mine but I have to get my 12,000 mile service sorted out and replaced the crap sports pipes that fell off! Keep up the good work. Car is looking mint.

thanks for your comments.

the colour is a bit of a long story, but is basically a copy of the rosso pearl that was on it originally.

i was advised by a well known tvr bodyshop not to have rosso pearl again simply because it is too problematic for future matching if for instance i had a minor scrape.

the reason i had a respray in the first place was because of the mismatched paintwork,so i didn't want to be back to square one in few months time if,heaven forbid,i needed a repair.

also cost of respray in rosso pearl was around £5000.

so i picked a colour as near as i could but without the problems,it is a pearl metallic.

however because of the slight colour change the car had to be fully stripped so every nook and crannie is now repainted,i could have had any colour you like.

total cost inc lights £2500.

That £2500, did that include the total strip down/rebuild?

My car is pretty tatty I did wonder about getting the nose done, however I hate the colour so wondered about changing it to black....

Ps Nice cans

i helped out a bit by removing the headlamps and rear light covers, also removed the doors when at bodyshop.

we re-fitted the doors together but i did all the new lights.

i am a bit hands on though,so perhaps i get too involved.

price did include front end conversion of course.

Excellent thanks, I could certainly tackle the lights and probably doors, although I might want a little help getting them back on

Did the respray include the two bits of 'inner bonnet'?

Thanks again

Seems incredibly good value & nice job - who did the bodywork, if you don't mind me asking?

That's an f***ing smart motor - well done. It's the kind of stuff that inspires us "newbies" to the Cerbie game.
