Same as ours Christof, as far as I know, so higher compression and extra 25BHP. I've seen quite a few with the octane switch so I guess the RR will make it official.

Cerbera 4.5 Red Rose package is now on the official TVR price list at £2000.00 plus VAT.

The RR is in this months Evo Magazine (Got a big orange Lambo on the front)

They drive it to Germany and back alongside a Brabus 6.1 V8 C Class Coupe! This isn't a back to back comparison but just highlighting the how different they both are..

The Cerbie looks gorgeous in Blue/Green Flipflop colour.

And yes it does break down

Its doesn't help the TVR rep does it?
On one page evo praising the Griffith and dispelling reliability problems, and then the Cerb let down by a humble fuse.
Still at least the Brabus boys didn't fidn the problem

Did you also note in the Evo article that the true weight of the car was 1275kg and not the TVR quoted 1100kg.(ok one was with a full tank of fuel and the other may be a dry weight but 175kg still seems a lot). If you factor in the the results a lot of Cerby 4.5 owners are getting on rolling road days 370bhp +/- (calclated back to the flywheel) and it maybe makes sense that the cerbera RR acceleration was pretty even with the 259bhp/ton automatic Merc.

Still it dosen't alter the fact that a Cerbera is about the most balistic car money can buy.

Hang on are you saying that my V8S, with a genuine 275 bhp/ton, actually has a higher power/weight ratio than a 4.5 Cerbera? On the face of it that doesn't sound very likely.

Cheers,
Peter Humphries (and a green V8S)

Drivel - sorry Driven drove it all morning at Millbrook last month with a camera stuck on the screen pointing inwards - however I saw no Jelly wobbling around the cockpit
