Rocker or "tappit" type noise ... ?
Discussion
I hope you all don't mind me blitzing this forum with questions, but beeing fresh to the scene I've so much I want to know ... anyway, on with the question ...
When driving, I notice a kind of "tappit" type noise just over the noise of the pipes - is this normal? It kind of makes me want to lift off the rocker covers (yikes) and check/adjust the gaps - or am I getting off on the totally wrong tip here?

The valve gear is noisey on my Cerbera, but a number of people have heard the car (including Joolz) who have also had experience of other Cerberas, and believe the noise to be quite normal. So I stopped worrying about it, and just enjoyed driving it.
The noise gets better once the car is warm, but it is still noisey (particularly on cars as old as mine).
By all means listen to another owners (on a car of a similar age) or take down to a good specialist who will listen to the car and put your mind at rest, but it is PROBABLY fine.
