Wiring diagram or at least radio/speaker wiring?

Hi all
I have an early Cerbera 4.2 with the multiple speaker set-up (central main, door mids & tweeters, rear mids) and have severe problems as the contacts appear to have been linked by someone with a random number generator. Front/rear left/right balance seems to work against itself and distortion is appearing due to incorrect connection, so the following would be useful.
1) If possible full wiring diagram for the car (I also aim to work my way through the car cleaning and electrogreasing all contacts in near future.
2) If 1) not available, a diagram of the radio/speaker wiring.
3) Where are the cross-overs mounted for the door speakers (in the door/dash/footwell)?
The aim is to install a head unit with seperate amp for either a central square subwoofer in place of the front centre speaker or rear in the centre cut-out or boot. Any comments would be welcomed.

The only bit I can help you with is the crossover, which on mine is accessible after removing the centre speaker. It is mounted in a small box to the left of the centre speaker, behind the dash.
Thought about taking it out and doing something else, but then got told to mow the lawn....

Thanks Steve, I'll have a rumage behind the speaker once I get the car back from its brief visit to the menders (service, tappets, front suspension, front discs, diff, aircon, etc, etc, etc!!). Oh the pleasure of these little monsters, but we love 'em.
