Well, it's been a long and painful wait but yes, I've done it and bought my Cerbera

Pick it up in a couple of weeks time and CAN'T WAIT!!!

(I haven't had a good nights for a couple of nights now, I'm just so anxious, I need it now, right now. I bet the weather doesn't last out)

It's a 2001 4.5 LW and looks absolutely gorgeous.

Just wanna say thanks for the advice I've had from this forum. I'm sure I'll be needing some more in the very near future.

Are there any Cerb owners in the N.E part of London or anywhere near there???

From one very happy man

I've just bought a '97 4.2 Cerbie and I third the sentiments to all who've taken the time and effort to contribute the useful feedback herein.

Cheers beemer, at least you had the lovely weather to enjoy it in.

I see from your profile that you're in the London region, maybe we could meet up when I finally jump into mine???

Does anyone know of any TVR meets that take place around the London area?

no problem - I'm in Wimbledon so a bit of a trek from NE London - but work up in town. Good mate of mine has a Tuscan too, so plenty of opportunity for early morning w/e blasts as the weather gets better (or stays the same as now!)
Also, whole load of us (most TVR, but the odd Fez and Scooby) go to Le Mans every year, if you want a decent trip in June?

cheers

Cheers beemer, I work up in town too (City).

Thanks for the invite, that's something I'm definately interested in. I was planning a European Vacation in the Cerb this summer anyway, so I could do this too.

Bit of a bummer getting the problem with your boot at the weekend. Have you fixed it yet??

Congratulations on your purchase - sure you will enjoy. Glad to see there is another Cerbera owner in NE London. Might be worth comparing notes sometime ?

If you fancy meeting up I will be at the 'Goat' pub at Hertford Heath just off the A10 on Sunday. There is a classic car meeting there first Sunday every month lunch time weather permiting. It would be good to see some other Cerberas.

I'm in Woodford so not far from you at all. I know the A10 very well, lot's of cameras, so taking care the next time I'm on there when I'm in my baby (counting the day's, plenty of early nights). I don't pick it up till the 12th so definitely meet up the first Sunday in May.

Katanarog,

Me in Enfield too (could you be the Green S6 or Red cerby I've seen around ?). The Goat sounds good - that is if I can my doors fixed, the exhaust is replaced and my tyres are still inflated by Sunday. The joys of ownership !

Alternatively I'll just keep my ears open as I wander around Enfield.

If you can get to the city then the TVRCC meet in 'Dirty Dicks' opposite Liverpool street station.

Not sure when though.

First Monday of the month: April 7th (next Monday) is the next one.

Not sure we want to increase the proportion of actual, real TVR owners attending though.

That's handy to know chaps.

I'm only 5 minutes walk from Liv St. so I'll pop in next Monday.

What time do you meet or shall I mail one of you for details??

Usually start gathering 6-6.30pm.

We're the bunch drinking lots, talking about racing cars and generally abusing each other. Oh, and spnracing is our slacker regional organiser type person who sometimes bothers to turn up (but only to try and persuade someone else to be RO).
