What should I do when I pick it up
Discussion
Ok so I pick up my 2000 Cerbera from the TVR centre on the 7th. Obviously when I get back home I can thumb through the mannual but can anyone give me the recommendations for driving from cold?
Do I keep it below 3k until the temp get up?
Is there a specific oil reading that I should be looking for before I open it up?
I need to make sure that I limit any potential damage before I thrash the nuts off it....

Congratulations - a fine choice.
Wait for the oil to warm up (not just the water temperature) before giving it large: usually easiest to see by monitoring the oil pressure at idle - it will drop when it warms through (mine drops from 60+ to about 45 when warm).
Until then, keep it below 3000rpm, and don't let the engine labour in too high a gear.
And most importantly ENJOY!

Well done - excellent choice! I personally let the oil pressure get to 60 before even engaging a gear. Then I never exceed 3000 rpm until the temp is at least 70. Even then don't be tempted to go mad - get a few miles on the clock then let her rip!!!!!!
