Does anyone have any experience with servicing at Mole Valley (either Chessington or Redhill)? I am considering taking my Cerbie there for a service - wondered if anyone had any feedback.
Rgds,
Chris.

Always found them helpful. If something very minor went wrong during service intervals you can pretty much show up on a Saturday and they will sort it out f.o.c. Paul Stratford is the chap I always dealt with and found him very good.

Sounds like your happy with the responses above but just to increase your confidence I've had excellent service from them.

They've always been great with me. A good relationship is so valuable....and it helps if you take them a bag of cakes and iced buns from a bakery....trust me. They really appreciate it.

I'd give them about an 8/10. They're pretty friendly bunch, but I've had a couple of mishaps that have dropped them from the 10/10 I would have given them about 6 months ago..

Cinman - your other thread said you were going to look at buying a cerb this weekend. My god that was quick - already needs a service and you bought it yesterday? Strange.
If you have got a 97 car then can I suggest you look for an independent eg Fernies , APM (my fave), Castle etc.

Mole Valley have been very good to me.

Paul Strafford, I believe, now deals with the Noble part of the business.

The one I've just bought doesn't need a service for a while yet, but it's worth establishing if the closest one to me is any good or not. I get the distinct impression they're fine and so I'll be happy to go there for the next service.

Thanks everyone for taking the time out to feedback - much appreciated.

MV have twice ignored me when I was interested in buying a Griff, then a Cerbie. No experience of their workshop, though.

But I have to echo the suggestion of going to an independent. I drive all the way up to Chesterfield to get mine fiddled with! Considering I have two dealers within about 15 minutes drive from where I work, i'm sure you can see how valuable I think Joolz is!

Independents in the area include:

Castle Sport near Gatwick
David Batty near Guildford
Fernhurst TVR near Haslemere
APM Automotive (not quite sure where)
Hillside Motors in Carshalton (older cars)

Contact details in the Oily Pages

Just bought a '97 4.2 Cerbera and had it serviced at Castle Sports near Gatwick. Mike Sweeney who owns the company, used to be the Service Manager at TVR Redhill, before the change of ownership to Mole Valley.

What he doesn't know about Cerbera's isn't worth knowing.

I rate him highly
