Clutch (or lack of)....
Discussion
I've just lost pressure on my clutch pedal - car was fine yesterday. I've had a look through previous threads which suggest it could be a seal problem but as I'm a complete novice I need to ask an idiot question.
I've removed the trim cover to check the clutch fluid level - which side of the car is the reservior on - the battery side or the driver's side? There's a reservoir under the trim cover on the driver's side (with a Ford logo on) which has an electric connector on the cap (full to the brim of a clear liquid). There's reservoir on the other side next to the battery with a blue cap - half full of a red liquid.
Any advice appreciated - booked on a ferry from the IOM -> Liverpool on Thursday morning so need to see if I can sort this before I go. Even if I can bodge it so I can get someone to look at it in the UK....
Cheers,
Phil.

The tank with blue cap is the expansion tank of the cooling system (on passengers side next to battery) - red fluid is water with anti-freeze in it.
There should be two caps on the drivers side, the clutch fluid reservoir can only be reached by taking off the engine bay trim panel. The brake fluid is the one with cap with the electronic fitting.

Thanks for that - found the reservoir (what a stupid stupid cover design) and managed to get the Cerb running again by refilling and bleeding the system.
There was no fluid at all in the neck of the reservoir and what came out when I bled the system was the colour of guinness. Guess a seal has gone. Hopefully I've done enough to get to the UK.
Only done 2K miles since the last service - could things get that bad so quickly, or has the dealer not bothered to look at it....
