Should a Cerbera be serviced every year or every 6,000 miles?

If a 5 year old car has only done 7k, is it acceptable to only have had one service?

Thanks in advance.

Service interval is 6000 miles OR 1 year so a 5 year old car should have had 5 services.

Things degrade over time as well as with use hence the need for regular servicing.

plus the first 1,000 mile service = 6

if the service you mentioned was the 1,000 mile service, it means the car has not been serviced for 5 years !?

Does it even run? That sounds like serious levels of neglect.

Apparently it hasn't been used for a while. How well it runs is yet to be seen!

The fact that it hasnt been serviced shouldnt make too much difference (IMHO) service requirments of once a year are just a means of your TVR dealer extracting more funds from you! What is a problem is the car standing idle for a long time. This can cause anything rubber to perish. ie Valve seals suspension bushes etc.
