Any sugestions on how to upgrade my in-car audio.
I currently have a pioneer DEH P6100R headunit, and standard pioneer speakers, but would like more base/body to the sound. What subs and amps do you all have. 10 inch or 8 inch sub? Please help.
Mick
PS I don't want to spend loads.

I don't own a Cerbera but here's some advice...

You mention you don't want to spend loads. As long as you have pre-outs for a sub on the back of your headunit i'd advise fitting a sub and amp. You can then use the headunit to turn down the bass on the normal speakers, allowing for more volume with less distortion.

10 or 8in.... I ran a 12in sub in my car for a bit. That was about right. Depends what you listen to.

Drum n Bass, Hip-Hop etc with big bass lines, go for a 12 or even 15in sub.

Rock music, pop, etc go for an 8 or 10. A more refined clean sound for the less low bass notes.

Look through audio magasines and see if you can get a bundle package: amp, sub, box, all cables. It's not the hardest job to wire it all in, but you can get it done professionally for about £40 i think.

Hope that helps.

The pump is quite impressive for its size plus the amps built in set it up right and it can make your eyes cost about £250
