Cerbera with racing stripe?

I have a blue Cerby I was gonna sell and get a Tuscan but I took one for testdrive and desided to stick with my Cerby, so I am gonna give it a make over. New headlamps and stuff. I was thinking of putting a racing stripe down the middle like you see on a lot of vipers.

Do you guys think it would be a cool idea or will it look crap? My girlfriend thinks it will look a bit OTT. But thats just her...what does she know..lol

Possibly cool when Briggs Cunningham and Carroll Shelby did it, but it has to be two strips, and why do you want US racing colours? But naff after all those Starsky and Hutch look alikes, but would be fun to see down Mulsanne. Perhaps stick with photoshop.

That's the danger..i.e. if you put a stripe down the middle it looks like an escapee from American Graffiti. Has anyone done anything like colour the "step" (lower 1/5 of Cerby side) a different shade, or is that a bit MG Montego?

I think it would go really well with your white socks and grey slip on shoes. Do you have a bomber jacket from Planet Holywood? A perm? Gold jewellery?

Do hope you are having a laugh, nobody puts a stripe down the side of their Cerbie, that would just be unthinkable!!! If you have seriously thought about doing it, then you've bought the wrong type of car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not down the side - two down the middle ie two thick stripes across the bonnet, roof and boot.
