It's an operational airfield, no entry without a pass. Most competitors will have a spare pass, you just need to get hold of one. There are going to be 15 + TVRs there so this should not be a problem. You can get in touch with the TVR competitors at http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/TVR_Speed_Champ/ or by an email to TVR_Speed_Champ@yahoogroups.com.

If so, how do i get a ticket (without risking driving 60 miles for nothing)
North Weald is an airfield. This weekend there is a sprint there, there will be 15+ TVRs competing there. You cannot take part in the sprint unless you have registered with the championship, got your competition license, safety equipment and so on and applied to enter the event - events closed some time ago and the event was massively over subscribed. They do also run other types of event at North Weald like quarter mile drag races, and driver training days, but there's none of that going on this weekend - just the sprint. If you interested in taking part in a sprint or just want to find out what it's all about, you'll find a comprehensive info pack at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TVR_Speed_Champ
