This is a question for William Ball.

I noticed on your profile that you've got a picture of you're Cerbera in the snow with a pair ski's resting against it. Did the Ski's arrive seperately? Do you have a cunning method to transport them?

Cheers..

Most ski resorts will sell Ski racks that work on a suction cup method, seen a few Ferrari's/Porsches flying around the mountains with studded tyres and skis on the roof...

Alberta Tomba has a Ferrari that he uses as a regular commuter toy in the snow !!

Very cunning indeed....they fit inside the car

Skis in pic [190s] fit, and previous planks [205s] also fitted in - just! Wrapped 205s in towels to keep interior clean, but the 190s actually fit in the car in a single ski box. Passenger would be very cramped with skis inside, but hey, they could sit in the back.

Thanks, I'll sleep easy at night now.

Like the idea of the sunction cup roof rack, but not sure if it will stay on as you're cruising through France at 120.. 140.. +++ Pop as the roof rack leaves..

Cheers,
Chris

*Shudders*

Dont think i'd fancy 140+ on Winter Snow Tyres !!

Was 120+ in Geneva/Morzine recently on Snow Tyres 3 up with Ski's on top (Suction cup type) in an Alfa 147
and there was a distinct lack of a pop then...So i think they are pretty safe at speeds...

just got back from Morzine myself last week, first time there and had a ball. Well there was 30 lads there with me so it was always going to be a good laugh, what did you think to the place, better skiing in Avoriaze (sp) i thought.

Eeek, steered weel clear of the wooden city, somebody needs to burn those giant wooden monsters !!

I preferred the skiing in Les Gets and chatel personally, depends what sort of skiing you are into i guess, i prefer off piste under the cable/gondola type extreme skiing !!

Friend has an apartment next to Dixies, bummer, so we go there a fair bit.

£70.00 return to Geneva, tres bon !!
