You mean to say there's a reverse?
yes, but no worse than a lot of cars I've driven.

My reverse gear is silent up to around walking speeds then whines quite loudly as speed increases.
Most reverse gears are noisy because of the way the are designed and manufactured so I wouldn't worry.
