At a soaking wet and windblown Llandow on Saturday in my AO21 shod caterham I was absolutely stunned to be blown away by a Tuscan - not so suprising you may think? After all he has got nearly four times as much power but this was not just on the straights. I expected to be all over him in the corners (don't forget it was really wet) and no way was he going to be putting that power down.... was he? Well he did and it was devastatingly effective.

I could not believe what I was seeing so I buttonholed him in the paddock and he told me that he had fitted traction control - and from the ear to ear grin you could tell he was pleased with the result. He said it was weird driving foot to the floor where instinct tells you its a recipe for a quick exit backwards through the marshall's hut.

There does not seem to be any reason why it wouldn't work on a Cerbera. it might not appeal to everyone but if it can cope with those track conditions then 3/4 peddle may be a thing of the past?

Thanks BEEJ.

It was a great day though (despite the weather) and yes, I really did enjoy the Tuscan, it was a revaltion. I'd recommend doing the TC thing to anyone, It actually enhances the enjoyment of driving the car an doesn't detract from anything.....I have first hand experience of that!

See you at the next (hopefully dry) track day! Bring the Cerby next time!

Aha.. dunno how you picked up on this thread but now you're here can you please remind me was it Racetech or Racelogic or something like that? And do you have a guide on cost?

Cheers.

PS should be at Goodwood next week and with luck it will be in a new (to me) piece of kit.
