Due to the arrival of a new sproglet, an idea mooted in these parts seems to favour trading in a Griff 500 for a 4.2 Cerbie. Anyone done this recently, if so, can you recommend the dealer?

I have done it recently but I did it privately so I cannot really help

Still you'll love the cerbera!

Good choice, and one I made myself a couple of years ago (although mine wasn't due to a childbirth)

I would recommend James Agger Autosport. James sourced me a Cerbera while he was at TMS and although I had to wait a few weeks until the right one came along, when it did arrive it was exactly what I wanted.

Also James can get Joolz of Joospeed to check out the car for you, so you know it will be a good-un.

Definitley go for the 4.2 variant, and as later a car as you can find.

Cheers

Thanks for everyone's input.

As a matter of interest davidd, did you do a swap, or sell one car/buy Cerbie from someone else?

Like you I became a dad, I was thinking of changing the car when a friend offered me his Cerbera at a good price. So I bought that and sold the Griff via Pistonheads.

Not that Alfie has been in it yet as I was waiting till he could go in a proper forward facing seat which he now can so next weekend it's chocks away
