Hi all,
I currently have a 4.0 Chimaera, but I am seriously considering a Cerbera, more power!. The point is I would realy appreciate a close look at one, a demo run would be even better. I would be looking at near the bottom end of the market say $16000, probably a 96 or 97. I live near Leamington Spa. Heres hoping.

Nick,

I live just down the road in Warwick and would be happy to give you a closer look at a Cerb. Mail me off-list so we can sort out a suitable time and place.

Cheers, Steve

I am sure that Steve will sort you out, but let me know if you need a backup car to check over - we met at the Warwickshire Mini-meet last year, and it doesn't take look to get over there (on a sunny day) so you can have a look if you like.

On which point, would anyone in North London be willing for me to plonk my carcass in the driver's seat of their Cerb to make sure I fit. Then I can start losing weight before the summer if necessary. I'm in Crouch End but can travel within reason.

Would be much appreciated.

Really.

I would love to even just come and have a good look at someone's Cerbera in North London.

Come along to VW on Sunday. I imagine there'll be as common as Fiestas.

VW is here:

www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=497500&y=168500&z=3&sv=Virginia+Water&st=3&tl=Virginia+Water,+Surrey+[Water+Feature]&searchp=newsearch.srf&mapp=newmap.srf

It's a National Trust site with a huge carpark and a big pub. Excellent for tyre-kicking types who like to lurk around chatting about grunyons. You can expect upwards of 100 cars there this Sunday.

We'll be there about 11.0-11.30 and stay for lunch.

You'll need £3.50 in the right change to get in to the car park.

Check out the VW thread in the Events section
