I’ve been posting under the Tuscan and T350 forums over the last few weeks about buying a TVR. I’d driven a Tuscan, and Tony from Hexham HC suggested a T350. I took Mrs GMan up to Hexham yesterday afternoon to have a look and we have both decided it has to be a Cerbera. Tony took me out for a drive in a Y reg. yellow 4.5 and it was awesome. I got out of the car and I’m smitten. They have a X reg. Rolex blue 4.5 for sale with 7000 mile on the clock, anthracite alloys and sports exhaust on, and I’m in love with it, and Mrs GMan even whispered to me how sexy the car looked (excellent). I have not arranged it yet but I’m going to go back up and have a drive of the Rolex blue Cerbera. I can’t believe how in ore I am of this car. Ah to be in love . Thanks again for taking me out for a drive at such short notice Tony.

You'll have found her GMan spot then.

Hope you can go for it - they are fantastic cars.

Good choice Mr & Mrs Gman. Have seen that car myself a few times whilst popping into HHC. Tony started it up for me when I was first fancying a sports exhaust and it sounded fantastic.
Hope you get it soon whilst the weather is still good. Give you a flash when I see you around

Gman - would you be interested in a yellow 4.5, Xreg approx 8,500 on the clock?

Gman, as your only in Hebburn, drop me an e-mail and i'll bring my Cerb round for ya! I'm only in Shields and will gladly show you the benefits of TVR ownership. Its about time we had more PH'ers oop north so we can maybe organise our own "virgina waters" meets, so to say.

Is it a sports exhaust on the Rolex Blue Cerb? Last time I was at Hexham I had a look under and it seemed (to me anyway!) that it had straight through pipes.

Good choice BTW

Thanks for all your responses;
Byff I’ll email you off line and we can try and sort something out!
The Virginia Waters type meet would be a good laugh. I think there is a TVR meet the last Wednesday(?) of the month at the Three Mile in Gosforth (Scallini’s Restaurant is all right there, but I think the bar is cr@p). Byff maybe we could organise our VW meet in the car park of The Voyager? It’s a shame the Ferry Tavern is gone now because we could have had it there too. But honestly all of us North East PH’ers we should do as Byff suggests and get something sorted on a grand scale! If I’m not Cerbera sorted by the time it happens can I blag a lift of someone?

The only thing with the brunny is that you have to park on the curb outside. What about the "waters edge" if thats still there that is!

The TVR finance guy is calling me in the morning so I might be sorted very soon! I'd be up for a meet anywhere, if I have a TVR or not! I'd bring Mrs GMan's Alfa(Great) along. Actually it's not that bad for what I paid for it, but it is not Rolex Blue with 18inch Anthracite Alloys and a 4.5 engine rumbling away! RRaaaghh

Time for a new thread I think.

BTW, still no e-mail Gman - it's in my profile, so send it and we'll go out for a giggle.

BYFF,
You in South or North Shields?
I'm South Shields.

Spookily enough GMAN, my wife used to have an Alfa 156 until recently - Is there a Cerbera/Alfa pattern emerging?

South Shields.

I've seen your motor once or twice outside Boldon Comp but I've never been in mine to give you a flash.
