Am I being thick or something, but how difficult is it to read the water level in the overflow bottle! I can't see a max mark. Can someone tell me if I unscrew the cap and look inside, then what level should the water be at.

appreciate any help

Cheese. I am pretty sure that the join that can be seen in the tank can be used as a Max mark.

This should be very clear to see, but is not marked up as being the "Max" mark.

Are your fingers aching from taking the top of the bottle off? Always seems to hurt when I take mine off

I thought that the join was the level to fill it up to as well, but I have been told to fill it to just below the join.

The reason behind this (I was told) is to allow sufficient room for expansion, not that water expands much mind you.

As far as I can see as long as the level is not too low and that the level does not change over time then you will be ok.

Joolz, Danny, is this b*ll*cks?
