Windscreen wiper test mode!
Discussion
I spoke to one of the electricians at the factory yesterday regarding my heater control unit, and also mentione that the wash wipe worked, but that the button to turn the wipers on all the time didn't.
He said to test the buttons you could put the control units in a test mode. With the ignition on press the two wiper buttons and the headlight dim/dip switch all at the same time. The indicators should then flash. You just turn off the ignition to reset it.
Mine doesn't indicating that the switch is faulty. I was hoping that someone could try the above and tell me what happens !

not a test mode for the wipers as such, but it does show if the buttons are working .. but you could rty that by just pressing each button in turn and see if it worked (!) .. what you've done is put with the three button press is to go into indicator self cancel alignment mode .. if you then rotate the steering wheel you'll see each side indicator switch off .. you rotate the cutter disc on the underside of the column to line up with the photocell recpetors to make both indicators self cancel with the same degree of turn at the wheel ..
