Expert knowledge required to help non-mechanic plse.

Indicator stalk has become so loose that it feels as though it is about to fall off. Left indicator cancels in the normal way but to cancel the right indicator, I am having to move the stalk to the neutral position (rather than indicating right again). A screw and 2 washers fell from the steering column

Many thanks

I have posted the solution/fix to this a few times. Have a trawl though the archives.

Thanks William. If I leave it as it is, is there any danger of it getting from bad to worse?

Hi,

William was kind enough to help me when mine did this - I was driving around for around two months in this state - so no, it won't get any worse - it will just continue to feel "sloppy" if you know what I mean.

Edited to post the link!

Just to add to the general helpfulness, there's some instructions on Faisal's site (www.tvrfreak.com, or www.tvr-freak.com or similar). [not really helpful at all, was it? ]

Anyway, when this happened to me, I didn't fiond a nut on the floor at all -- it seemed to be integrated with the thingy in the column. It looks like another tvr "impmrovement" as time went by, and certainly made it easier to get the thing back together again.
