I've got what can be best described as stiff steering. I'm sure its not a power steering problem as I can put the car on half lock (for going rouund a round about) and it will stay there all by itself until I apply force to take the lock off.

I will be taking it to the dealer next weekend but thought I'd pole for a few ideas first. Anyone know where the column bearings are??

the steering is by far the worst aspect of cerbera driving (most tvrs actually) .. it is quite usual to have steering which won't self centre. maybe yours is a bit worse than others but the majority won't self centre to fully straight ahead, only a handful of cars have what I would call "correct" steering.

Cheers Jools. It was fine until recent clutch work so I am assuming that to get at the master cylander the column would be removed. It now feels as if its going through a rubber bush with no lubrication what so ever.
