doors and windows

cant get the doors and windows to work,checked all the fuses and they seem fine....anyone got any bright ideas

Have you tried resetting the control box, velcro-ed to the petrol tank? Just unplug it, wait a few secs then plug it back in. I'd make sure the plipper's in your pocket first, by the way.

My drivers side window won't go down when opening the door. Second time its happened now, the old unplug the control box worked first time, so naturally tried it again.

Didn't help a jot.

Oh, BTW, always keep your keys in your pocket, not in the car - as I had a narrow escape at blockbuster car park - door acted up, started engine as it was bloody cold, went to boot, tried the unplug bit, turned around as door was closing and it slammed shut.

Luckily had keys on me, but would the doors open - would it buggery. I had to reach in with a long stick and switch off the engine before the blipper would unlock the door and let me back in.

Make matters worse, didn't realise until after ripping off a branch of the nearest bush that it was infact a prickly bush - hands full of pointy spelks and covered in blood.
