Guys, just back from christmas family duties with the cerb. Had to go ( from Guernsey) to Somerset for a few days & on to Glasgow to see the in-laws. (cue: much laughing & "you must be mad" warnings from non TVR owning friends).
We were just gonna fly, but managed to convince missus that taking the cerb would be an adventure!
I'm sorry to report that the car never missed a beat, the engine did not let go, & nothing fell off.
What really amazed me was the fuel economy - a tank & a half to get there, & the same back, & at an average of 90-95mph all the way.
Really, really impressed with the car - i'm now beginning to think i may have been of sound mind when i bought it after all!
Have a good one.
Darren.

Did you experience nice quiet roads?

I've used my cerb on the Christmas relation trips, boot packed with presents, kids squezed in the back and despite having a Jeep Grand cherokee sitting on the drive which would have been more sensible considering the size of the boot.

But with quiet roads, you can't resist the temptation.

Similar trouble free experience on each of three 1000plus mile round trips from Yorkshire to Spa. Several hundred miles more hard driving were added for 2 days around the ciruit and on one occaision 2 more days around the Nordschleife.

You can even fit a spare set of 17 inch wheels/track tyres in the car and still have room for your dinner jacket and black tie!
