The rubber seal covering the bottom of the front windscreen seems very loose, is this normal?

It doesn't seesm to be attached directly to the windscreen - should it be and does anyone know if they are easy to replace?

Sometimes it just needs a bit of super glue.
Sometimes the rivet holding the plastic below that seal can be loose as well.

Had similar problem but worse, 1 ft of the black plasticy thingy was flapping around. Tried to secure with silicon but didn't hold. Need special rubber glue for this. Joolz did mine while replacing starter so don't know where to get it but presume halfords or similar would have it.

Had about a foot of the seal flapping too. You don't need any special glue to fix it. Did mine 12 months ago with plain old Evo-Stick/Bostik and its still fine. Make sure you throughly clean all residues of the old TVR apllied gunk before you start, then just follow instructions on the tube - i.e, coat both seal and the lower part of the screen with glue and leave for 10-15 mins before bonding together. Works a treat!

Dinitrol Windscreen Sealer looks like it should do the job.
