Has anyone used David Hendry in Wiltshire for servicing their Cerbie before? Any comments on their workmanship? Mine is due for a 24k service soon so any comments will be appreciated. Cheers. Dan

Dan Hendrys seem to be a bit of an unknown quantity. I also live in Bristol so was interested in the best place for servicing. I asked at the Bristol club and most people get their cars serviced at specialists. In particular alot of members recommended Peninsula in Devon. For me a big benefit is that they collected my car for 'free' and the servicing rates are very competative when compared to main dealers. The Griff is with them today so I'll let you know how I get on. If you do speak to Hendry's let me know your thoughts. Cheers Dan

I would like to service my car at a specialist but my Cerbie is only 3 years old with 23k on the clock so I want to keep the main dealer's history going! Did you say Peninsula collect the car for free? There's good, as I tried the factory they just told me where to go :0( Anyway, off topic, are there any other Cerbie owners at the Bristol Club? Cheers Dan

Switched to DH a couple of years ago .They seem pretty good albeit I've only used them for servicing a Chim.Much cheaper than certain dealers.

I believe there are local Cerbie Drivers who are members but since I joined there haven't been any regular attendees. This is a shame as I'm quite keen on the cars but haven't had chance to have a close look. You would be more than welcome to show up at the Club dos. This months meeting is replace by a jolly up to Stroud this Saturday eve. Check the website for details. http://www.tvrbristol.ic24.net/Events.html Cheers Dan

Didn't go to Hendry's mate, it went to Peninsula. Top bunch of blokes, did all the work I asked for, for noticeably less than 400. Including 6000 mile service, establish and rectify '0' oil pressure reading, straighten wonky exhaust, fit chin diffuser and generally tune the thing up. The car runs like a dream now, if anything it’s easier to drive. They picked the car up from my house on a low loader at a time that suited me and dropped it off likewise. It has to be said I was very impressed, and would recommend their work. If you go to Hendry's I'd be interested in your thoughts. Cheers Dan

I have just moved to Bristol (Clifton) and drive a wild oyster T reg S6 Cerbie. They seem to be fairly rare as I have only seen 3 others in my time here. those being an M reg (obvious private plate) Dark Blue, with some sort of long exhaust thing on the back, a rosso 4.2 C1RBE and a green 4.5.....anybodys? Let me know when the next meeting is and I would be glad to meet you all.

Welcome to Bristol, and I can assure you would have a good time here. I drive a 4.2 Rosso Pearl, live just off Whiteladies Rd in Redland. Give us a wave when you see me! BTW, where did you get your Cerbie from? Danny. Dan
