Has anyone had to rewire thier steering wheel. I had to take mine off to tighten a few of the allen keys and it is apparent that the wires have been crushed and need replacement. What I need is a pointer to a source for the wire itself
Don't know if this is any help, but buttons on steering wheel are wired into loom via a "ribbon" of wires that can be purchased from a dealer. Cost of ribbon was around £35 I think.

I took mine off once and could;nt get it back on without knackering the connections. Has to get the dealer to fix it in the end. I definatly think you have to know the correct order to get it back on.
