Obscenely loud alarm
Discussion
Please could anybody help!!!, found out just how bloody loud the Cerbera alarm is 2 nights ago when it went off about 5 seconds after arming it. Now every time I go to arm the alarm it goes off (Getting a bit unpopular with the neighbours).
I have a suspicion that it is to do with the fact that the night before, the battery had been to flat to start the car. I charged the battery over night and car now starts fine just the alarm playing up. Read a previous post that mentioned similar problems occuring when a battery is changed, something to do with a drop voltage sensor in the alarm. If this is the problem any ideas as to a cure.

Turned out to be the actual siren, its mounted under the rear arch behind the plastic lining. Damp had got inside and damaged the circuit. Had it replaced under warantee. Garage said alarm had deafened all its employees and was still going when taken out and put on the bench (special capacitors or something). Hope this helps - should'nt be too expensive.
