Red rose

Hi all,

I was just woundering whether any one on here owns a 4.5 red rose cerbera.
I love all cerbera's and just wanted to know what they are like and are the 0-60 figures any different.

Any info would be greatful

I had my engine upgraded to Red Rose spec. Increased horse power by 50bhp, and improves response everywhere. Doubt whether much effect on the 0-60 time since that's much more traction limited.

Do you mean you got your engine upgraded by the factory or do you mean your car is fitted with a non-factory equivalent of the "Red Rose" spec?
Were the 50bhp noticable on the dyno?

It was done by the factory, and how else would I know it's 50bhp BUT by using a dyno before and after?

Oh it feels quicker, must be around 50bhp?

Out of interest, how much does the Red Rose conversion cost plus how long do Blackpool keep it for?

Around 4k, and up to 3 months, with a several months waiting list to get in. They've only done one so far, though I believe Julian Rowntree has his booked in to be the second.

julian's car is there now I think .. and we're doing the same before and after comparison like on yours danny.

I almost had mine done but the other engine work got too costly and I ran out of dosh!
