What do i need to make sure something has been done or replaced within the history of a cerbera when i look at one

The only recall thats been done is the front uprights, and there should be a sticker over the VIN plate saying it's been done(under the bonnet, right at the front of the passenger wing)

Other than that - I can't think of anything that "needs" to have been done to them, apart from regular servicing by a dealer/specialist.....

Do the tappets need re-setting every 12 month

Yes - but thats part of the standard 12K service, so if they need doing the dealer would have done them....

Clutches last for about 20-25000 miles so worth enquiring, especially if its an early 4.2 as the bell housing and flywheel will also need changing to the same type as fitted in 4.5.

Tappets don't need doing every 12 months, just every 12k miles. A clutch can wear out after 15k miles.
